Summary of Role

The Tech Team Specialist role will assist in a variety of technical tasks for Jonah’s website products and various digital offerings. The Tech Team Specialist should be attentive to detail, a quick learner in a wide range of software platforms, and able to perform basic technical website functions. This role will be responsible for helping with integration setups, adding scripts to websites, managing system users, setting up permissions, and the like.


  • Add third-party scripts to websites and test to ensure they’re working as expected.
  • Create website staging environments for the team to use internally.
  • Assist in the setup and testing of third-party integrations.
  • Prepare 301 redirects for sites migrating to Jonah.
  • Set up and manage users in Jonah’s Content Management System.
  • Test form behavior and submissions on the front-end of the websites.
  • Create sitemap.xml and robots.txt files to submit to search engines.
  • Generate Google reCAPTCHA keys, set up maps API keys, and initiate re-indexing.
  • Prepare website domains for launch by researching and documenting DNS info.
  • Attend and contribute to recurring Tech Team meetings.
  • Assist in the upkeep of documentation specific to the role as processes and technologies change.
